  • How long does it take to complete the training?
    The training can be completed in 6 to 9 months.
  • What is the renewal process?
    Your CCLC certificate will list the expiration date – All CCLC's require renewal by December 15th.
    • Coaches with 5 or fewer CAM courses in total must participate in continuing ed in the form of:
        • Completion of one CAM 500-level coaching course, OR
        • Completion of CAM’s GMC Process, OR
        • Participation in The Coaching Exchange
    • Coaches with 6 or more CAM courses in total are not required to complete continuing ed, but still must renew their certification.
    • A renewal form will be emailed in November. All CCLC coaches will fill out and return the form along with a $75 renewal fee.
  • Do I have to buy the whole package up front?
    No, you can purchase everything separately. Here is a breakdown of the costs:
    • CAM 101 ($49)
    • CAM 501 and CAM 502 ($575 each. Total of two: $1150)
    • GMC ($1300)
    • CCLC Application Fee ($75)
    Total: $2,574
  • Do I have to be of the Christian faith to participate in this program?
    No. Most people in the classes will be Christian, but our students are kind and gracious people who don't expect everyone to believe exactly as they do.
  • How close will this get me to ACC?
    ACC stands for Associate Certified Coach, and this is the first of three certifications offered by the International Coach Federation, the premiere credentialing organization for coaches in the world. The requirement for ACC is 60 hours of approved training, 10 hours of mentor coaching, and 100 hours of logged (75% paid) coaching experience. With the CCLC, you will receive 32 hours of approved training and 10 hours of mentor coaching. So, you will be a little over halfway there.

  • How long does it take to complete the training?
    The training can be completed in less than 2 years, though you will be able to (and should) coach before the training is complete.
  • How close will this get me to PCC?

    PCC stands for Professional Certified Coach, and this is the second of three certifications offered by the International Coach Federation, the premiere credentialing organization for coaches in the world. The requirement for PCC is 125 hours of approved training, 10 hours of mentor coaching, and 500 hours of logged (75% paid) coaching experience. With the ECC, you will receive 128 hours of approved training and 10 hours of mentor coaching. When you get your 500 hours of coaching experience through clients, you'll be able to apply for the PCC.

  • What will I have to do to renew my ECC?
    The ECC does not require any renewal – It is good for life.

  • How much does it cost?
    Annual membership consists of one yearly payment of $375/year or 12 monthly payments of $37.50/month.
  • How do I know it's for me?
    Do you want to coach? Then it's for you. Whether you want to coach as a full-time profession, a few hours a month as a ministry, as a way to earn some side income, or as a part of your day job in business or ministry, the community is for you.
  • What other resources will I get?
    Not only do you get all the fresh monthly content, but you also have access to a large library of archived webinars, coaching demos, and learning labs.
  • Does it matter if I'm new to coaching?
    Nope! The community is for all Christian coaches, from total beginners to seasoned coaches. In the same way new plants and mature plants all need water, this community is for any coach who wants to thrive.
  • How much do I have to participate in the community?

    It's totally up to you. Some community members attend every learning lab and webinar and post actively in the Facebook group. But others pick and choose just what they need for their context.

  • Will you help me get clients?
    Yes and no. We'll do everything we can to educate, motivate, encourage, and instruct. But at the end of the day, getting clients is deeply dependent on how much attention and follow through you provide.
  • Online Classes

  • What if I have to miss a class?
    We record each class and make the recording available so you can catch up before the next class session. However if you miss more than three hours of any CAM 500-level course, you are required to do remediation with the instructor (at your expense) in order to receive a certificate for the course.
  • Is there a live instructor?
    Yes, the International Coach Federation requires the training to be live to count for their certifications.
  • What platform do you use?
    We use Zoom as our instructional platform. It is also possible to connect via telephone if internet is not available.
  • Will I see the other students in class?
    Yes, many of the students share their video, and we encourage a lot of interaction. You will get to know and like several other students in the class.
  • What is the refund policy?
    For registration cancellations within 14 days before the start of a class, participants can choose to move their registration to another equivalent course offering* or receive a partial refund of 85%. Before the 14-day mark, a full refund will be given. No refund will be issued for cancellations received after the start of the course. *GMC registration changes are contingent upon available seats and are subject to a 15% rescheduling fee.
