CAM Community of Coaches
1. How much does it cost?
Annual membership consists of one yearly payment of $375/year or 12 monthly payments of $37.50/month.
3. What other resources will I get?
Do you want to coach? Then it’s for you. Whether you want to coach as a full-time profession, a few hours a month as a ministry, as a way to earn some side income, or as a part of your day job in business or ministry, the community is for you.
2. How do I know it’s for me?
Not only do you get all the fresh monthly content, but you also have access to a large library of archived webinars, coaching demos, and learning labs. You also have the option to sign up for bonus cohorts such as the Coaching Exchange and Business Development — at no cost — and receive a 15% discount on CAM classes.
4. Does it matter if I’m new to coaching?
No, it doesn’t! The community is for all Christian coaches, from total beginners to seasoned coaches. In the same way new plants and mature plants all need water, this community is for any coach who wants to thrive.
5. How much do I have to participate in the community?
It’s totally up to you. Some community members attend every learning lab and webinar and post actively in the Facebook group. But others pick and choose just what they need for their context.
6. Will you help me get clients?
Yes and no. We’ll do everything we can to educate, motivate, encourage, and instruct. But at the end of the day, getting clients is deeply dependent on how much attention and follow through you provide.
Online Classes
1. What if I have to miss a class?
We record each class and make the recording available so you can catch up before the next class session. However if you miss more than three hours of any CAM 500-level course, you are required to do remediation with the instructor (at your expense) in order to receive a certificate for the course.
2. What is the refund policy?
*GMC registration changes are contingent upon available seats and are subject to a 15% rescheduling fee.
3. Is there a live instructor?
Yes, the International Coaching Federation requires the training to be live to count for their certifications.
4. What platform do you use?
We use Zoom as our instructional platform. It is also possible to connect via telephone if internet is not available.
5. Will I see the other students in class?
Yes, many of the students share their video, and we encourage a lot of interaction. You will get to know, work with, and coach other students in the class.
6. Do I have to be of the Christian faith to participate in CAM’s programs?
No. Most people in the classes will be Christian, but our students are kind and gracious people who don’t expect everyone to believe exactly as they do.
Certified Christian Leadership Coach (CCLC)
1. How long does it take to complete the training for a CCLC certificate?
The training can be completed in 6 to 9 months.
2. What is the renewal process?
Your CCLC certificate will list the expiration date – All CCLC certificates require renewal by December 15th of the expiration year.
Coaches with 5 or fewer CAM courses in total must participate in continuing ed in the form of:
- Completion of one CAM 500-level coaching course, OR
- Completion of CAM’s GMC Process, OR
- Participation in The Coaching Exchange (part of the CAM Community of Coaches — membership required)
Coaches with 6 or more CAM courses in total are not required to complete continuing ed, but still must renew their certification.
An online renewal form will be made available in November. All CCLC coaches will fill out the form and pay a $75 renewal fee.
3. Do I have to buy the whole package up front?
No, you can purchase everything separately. Here is a breakdown of the costs:
- CAM 101 ($49)
- CAM 501 and CAM 502 ($575 each. Total of two: $1150)
- GMC ($1600)
- CCLC Application Fee ($75)
Total: $2874
4. After I complete my CCLC package, can I apply those classes to your Level 1 CCLC+ or Level 2 ECC program?
Yes! Our programs are designed to “stack.” When you receive your CCLC certificate, you can choose to apply your work to the CCLC+ or ECC program. Use these links to check out the partial “bridge” packages.
5. How close will this get me to ACC?
ACC stands for Associate Certified Coach, and this is the first of three certifications offered by the International Coaching Federation, the premiere credentialing organization for coaches in the world. The requirement for ACC is 60 hours of approved training and 10 hours of mentor coaching.
The CCLC program will get you a little more than halfway to ACC, providing 32 hours of approved training and 10 hours of mentor coaching.
Certified Christian Leadership Coach plus (CCLC+)
1. How long does it take to complete the training?
The training can be completed in about 1 year, and you will be able to (and should!) start coaching before the training is complete.
2. How close will this get me to ACC?
ACC stands for Associate Certified Coach, and this is the first of three certifications offered by the International Coaching Federation, the premiere credentialing organization for coaches in the world. The requirement for ACC is 60 hours of approved training, 10 hours of mentor coaching, and 100 hours of logged (75% paid) coaching experience. With the CCLC+ program, you will receive 64 hours of approved training and 10 hours of mentor coaching. When you get your 100 hours of coaching experience through clients, you’ll be able to apply for the ACC.
3. Do I have to buy the whole package up front?

- CAM 101 eCourse ($49)
- 500 Level courses ($575 each. Total of four: $2300)
- GMC ($1600)
- Level 1 Advanced Mentor Coaching with Competency Review ($375)
- Certification Fee ($75)

4. What will I have to do to renew my CCLC+?
Your CCLC+ certificate is considered a “permanent” certification at CAM. It does not require any renewal.
5. After I complete my CCLC Plus package, can I apply those classes to your Level 2 ECC program?
Yes! Our programs are designed to “stack.” When you receive your CCLC Plus certificate, you can choose to apply your work to the ECC program. Use this link to check out the “CCLC+ to ECC bridge” package.
Executive Christian Coach (ECC)
1. How long does it take to complete the training?
The training can be completed in less than 2 years, and you will be able to (and should!) start coaching before the training is complete.
2. How close will this get me to PCC?
PCC stands for Professional Certified Coach, and this is the second of three certifications offered by the International Coaching Federation, the premiere credentialing organization for coaches in the world. The requirement for PCC is 140 hours of approved training, 15 hours of mentor coaching, and 500 hours of logged (75% paid) coaching experience. With the ECC, you will receive 128 hours of approved training and 10 hours of mentor coaching. When you get your 500 hours of coaching experience through clients, you’ll be able to apply for the PCC.
3. Do I have to buy the whole package up front?
No, you can purchase everything separately. Here is a breakdown of the cost:
- CAM 101 eCourse ($49)
- CAM 102 eCourse ($129)
- 500 Level courses ($575 each. Total of eight: $4600)
- GMC ($1600)
- Level 2 Advanced Mentor Coaching (5 sessions) with Competency Review ($1475)
- Certification Fee ($75)
- Storage/Administration Fee ($200)
Total: $8128
4. What will I have to do to renew my ECC?
Your ECC certificate is considered a “permanent” certification at CAM. It does not require any renewal.
